"OUR STORY"

Tree of Life Ministries and Reentry Services, Inc. began in the early 2000s as a response to a cry in the community. What started as outreach to single mothers, the homeless, and the hungry soon expanded to serve those exiting prostitution, addiction, and incarceration. As needs grew, it became clear there was a gap in services for the underserved. In 2009, the ministry was incorporated, further validating the work already taking place. Today, Tree of Life continues to restore hope, rebuild lives, and walk with those seeking a new beginning.

We have made quality our habit. It’s not something that we just strive for – we live by this principle every day. 🌿

Mentorship & Job Preparation

At our organization, we provide mentorship and job preparation training to help individuals succeed in their career aspirations. Our program includes assistance with resume writing and honing interviewing skills, ensuring that our participants are well-equipped to present themselves confidently and professionally to potential employers. With our personalized mentorship, individuals receive guidance and support as they navigate the job market and work towards their career goals. Our comprehensive job preparation training ensures that our participants are well-prepared and competitive in today's job market. We are committed to helping individuals develop the skills and confidence they need to excel in their chosen careers.

Reentry & Community Service

Reentry Services
Tree of Life Reentry Services serves as a compassionate liaison between the incarcerated individual, their family, and the judicial system. We provide advocacy, resource navigation, and transitional support to promote successful reintegration, strengthen family connections, and reduce barriers to stability, restoration, and long-term success.

Community service hours can be an important part of both education and judicial processes. Whether it is a requirement for a class or as a result of a court order, participating in community service allows individuals to give back to their communities while also learning valuable lessons about empathy, responsibility, and the importance of helping others. These hours can also provide an opportunity for individuals to reflect on their actions and make positive changes in their lives. By volunteering their time and skills, people can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need, while also fulfilling their obligations and contributing to the betterment of society as a whole.
